Hydro-power Explanation.
WALT write an explanation of how a Hydro-power station works
.
A hydro-dam is an amazing structure that makes electricity from water!
Firstly you build a dam to block the river.Water then builds up behind the dam. This is called the reservoir.
Water then goes through the intake and it goes through the penstock.
Then next it goes to the turbine and the turbine spines fast. Then it goes through the generator.
Then the power lines take’s the electricity to our houses.
Hydropower is great because it is renewable.

Narrative Writing
Start writing your narrative story here:
Once there was a man and his wife fishing on their boat trying to catch fish for them to eat, when suddenly they sank into the water trying to call for help but nobody could not hear them so they swam to an island where there was food for them to eat. There was heaps of food over there for them to eat and heaps of water to.They were so tired that they couldn't walk. The next morning they built their own house for them to sleep in,After they finished their house they went for a swim in the beach the were so cold that they couldn't get out of the water. The man and his wife had dinner they had coconuts for dinner. The next morning they started building their own boat for them to go back where they live. They were working so hard they haven’t had breakfast yet. In the morning when they finished building their boat they had breakfast. At nighttime they had dinner for there dinner they had fish and coconuts.

WAL: about how plants grow best
This is what I think about how plants grow.
We will be doing some experiments to find out if it is true.
1. How much sunlight do plants need to grow?
Once a day they need sunlight.
2. Can plants grow in the shade? Can they grow inside?
Yes, because some plants grow in the shade.
3. Can plants grow better by talking to them? Why?
No, because plants can’t talk.
4. Can plants grow in sand? or rocks? Why?
Yes, because some plants are born in sand and rocks.
5. How much water do plants need to grow? What type of water?
Once a day
6. Can you feed plants food? If yes, what kind?
Yes, soil and water.
